Fictive Insight: From A Fictive Heavy System

Fictive Insight: From A Fictive Heavy System

Introduction

A fictive is what Pluralpedia writes is, "Headmates that are based on a fictional sources." Fictives can ordinate from media (ex. TV shows). It can even be a character someone in the system created (ex. OC). Fictives are not people roleplaying as the character. They are a real part of systems. We are a fictive heavy collective with majority of our sources are object shows. We think it could be from one or multiple these reasons.

  • Accepting our system and having object show special interests around the same time.
  • Trauma related to anti-autism things we experienced previously before gaining object show fictives. (We are thinking our origin is most likely autigenic.)
  • Increased number of fictives (any source) due to autism.
Regardless of how they got there, are fictives are a large part of our collective and doing amazing work in our system. We would be a very different system without them.

Meet The Fictives

Today, we thought it would be a great idea to hear from some of the fictives in our collective and their experiences as fictives. Many fictives are different with how them being a fictive and how their source effects them. Some of entries will be anonymous.

"It's kind of funny that I like Angelina Ballerina despite the possibility of my source thinking it is too girly. It's charming." -Nine (Any)

"I am insecure about being a fictive. I don't know why. I do enjoy being a part of the system." -Anonymous

"It saddens me that my source only wants one of themselves. I know I am not my source, but I guess I just want them to be fine with my existence."- Bot (They/Them)

"My source material recently breathed new light into some of my sourcemates and myself. I really enjoy my source and who I am separately from my source. I enjoy getting to know myself." -Six (They/She)

"I like my source. I don't approve of some of her actions. I truly love being a fictive." -Test Tube (She/Her)

Conclusion

It is important to remember that every system is different, and this just our experience(s). It is important to bring up that fictives (factive, fablenings, etc.) are not their sources. We hope you enjoyed hearing our insights about fictives (especially from the fictives included).
