 The Announcements Hey everyone, it's The Paint Cans, we have some pretty cool announcements regarding this blog. First of all, if you/you& have not heard on our other socials, we are going to post two entries every month starting in October. Our second announcement is that, we will be taking requests for topics. We have the right to decline any topic we see fit. We are currently taking requests in a Google Form. We will even give you/you& credit, and you/you& can be anonymous if you like. The link to the form will be at the end of this blog post. We are also going to expand our writers for this blog. Currently, four members are the main writers for the blog. Those are Star, The Clown, Bot, and Pepper. Clover and Book have also been writers for at least one blog. Those are all the announcements. More On Median Systems Introduction Are there more ways to be plural other than multiple? Actually, yes, there is. It is called being a median. Median (or also know as midcontiuum) is where members are not separate as multiple systems. Median Spectrum There is a spectrum. We feel that we fall on diversian side. The spectrum is from Parasian (closer to singlet), Mesosian (the middle), and Diversian (closer to multiple). Core Or No Core?  Webbed medians have no cores. Orbital medians have a core, and mutliorbital have multiple cores. We are an orbital median, so we have one core. In median systems, the facets are dependent on the core(s).  Fictive Insight: From A Fictive Heavy System Introduction A fictive is what Pluralpedia writes is, "Headmates that are based on a fictional sources." Fictives can ordinate from media (ex. TV shows). It can even be a character someone in the system created (ex. OC). Fictives are not people roleplaying as the character. They are a real part of systems.We are a fictive heavy collective with majority of our sources are object shows. We think it could be from one or multiple these reasons. Accepting our system and having object show special interests around the same time. Trauma related to anti-autism things we experienced previously before gaining object show fictives. (We are thinking our origin is most likely autigenic.) Increased number of fictives (any source) due to autism.  Awareness Vs Acceptance- A Plural Perspective Introduction This week marks Plural Acceptance Week (with Plural Pride Day being this Saturday). I (Star) thought it this was a good time to bring up this issue of Awareness versus Acceptance. This mostly seen in the Autistic Community (which we also are). We figure plural allies might get more out of this than actually plurals. What Is Awareness? Awareness is something you know of. For example, this week is Nonbinary Awareness Week. So this week, you might be learning about what nonbinary is and who is considered nonbinary. Or maybe you know about your neighbor. You know your neighbor exists, but you have no idea who your neighbor is. Maybe they like chocolate ice cream the best. Maybe they play golf on the weekends. Maybe they might be neurodivergent or queer. You don't know for sure who they are really. You might tell your family about neighbor when they ask who lives in the house next door or inform subscribers when they are movin...
